Stage 4: Scenic views and good atmosphere when Ski Tour 2020 raced in Meråker

Norway and Russia are at the top of the podium when Therese Johaug and Alexander Bolshunov were the fastest in Thursday's mass start in Meråker. A race that, despite changes n the course, offered both mountain views and historical news in the World Cup, when the women also raced 34 kilometers up and down the mountain.

Therese Johaug takes home her fourth straight victory in Ski Tour 2020 after the 34 km race up and down the mountain in Meråker. Ingvild Flugstad Østberg challenged and advanced second after second on Johaug and finished strong in second place.

Heidi Weng ranked third in today’s race and once again secured a Norwegian triple on the podium, ahead of Swedish Ebba Andersson who finished in fourth place.

Alexander Bolshunov (RUS) is the winner of today’s race in Meråker, this after doing a strong push halfway through the fourth stage. He also takes over the lead of Ski Tour 2020.

51,7 seconds behind Bolshunov the following group fought for the remaining spots on the podium. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (2nd) put in an extra gear and finished just ahead of the local skier Emil Iversen (3rd), who was cheered on by the Meråker spectators all the way to the finish, especially by his own fan club.

After a day of spectacular views, Ski Tour 2020 the tour leaves for Trondheim and the final weekend that will finish in the arena Granåsen Skisenter.
